Mgm Casino Lion Habitat
Our Mission Statement
The lion habitat will permanently close Jan. 31, the Las Vegas Sun reported Wednesday. A spokeswoman for MGM Resorts International, which owns the hotel, said the closure is part of “significant. One of the great free attractions in the Las Vegas strip is the MGM Grand Hotel’s Lion Habitat. Despite being in Vegas at least a couple of times a year, we’ve never gotten the chance to visit. We finally decided to be the tourists that we are and take the kids recently during our Thanksgiving 2011 weekend visit.
It is our desire and belief that we can make you fall in love with our lions and by doing so, we all will strive to protect and donate to wild lion habitats. It is and has been a privilege to be accepted by all of our lions at this location dating back to 1989. We are constantly making improvements to our lions’ environment, well being and living quarters. Since 1970, I have worked in close contact with all big cats and the social nature of lions has been my greatest pleasure.
